Oldham CLC is part of a national network of City Learning Centres that work with their local schools to develop innovative approaches to learning with ICT. Teachers bring pupils to the CLC to use our equipment and work with our specialists using a wide range of technologies - CAD-CAM, digital video, sound recording, dynamic mapping, GPS, podcasting, radio, TV, electro-encephlograph feedback - the list goes on... The lessons of these experiences are shared with other schools through our inset programme and case studies. Priorities for each year are decided by a Management Board representing Oldham schools, and agreed with the national agency for ICT in schools, Becta. Dowload the priorities for 2008-9 below.
